Streets and Trips has been a very valuable tool for our company for locating
multiple properties and driving to the properties that we manage, however, it
would be great to see more features added that directly address commercial
needs.

Below are a number of suggestions that would bring added value of S & T from
the commercial perspective.

1. It would be great to see Streets and Trips become more integrated with
.Net so that we could integrate it with our .Net applications.
2. It would be nice to be able to have an Option to Route within a certain
mileage radius and automatically pin point imported sites within that
specific radius by mile range.
3. Add an Option to add stop times to locations – both individually or
globally. Also be able to add an option so that breaks can integrated and
included based on the closest town or city on the route. That way when
someone drives 8 hours, you could build in lunch and dinner breaks and it put
you to the closest town or city at specific time intervals.
4. Option to add a start time and end time – route based on an 8 hr day –
do not end a route based on time frame that ends on freeway, but rather
displays the end at the closest city or town.
5. Option to add mileage cost and possibly other costs associated with an
overnight stay such as hotels or other associated trip costs.
6. Efficiency of adding or deleting sites from a route.
7. Accurate mapping, look at zip code, address, City etc.
8. Updated area street maps through an update of the program. Roads and
maps change and the program should be able to update with these changes.
9. Option to link to the internet /satellite to import customer specific
locations.
10. Option to print maps, spreadsheets or reports based on the above.
11. Optimize travel based on the itinerary and location entered.

S & T is a great program, but I believe these changes would raise the bar.
Thank you.

No shit?

It would be great from this end to see somebody with reasonable
expectations of an investment of $20.

I'd sure like to see the evidence you have to support that assertion.

All that is nice, but what I'd like to see is the ability to
designate a fuel stop. As it is, after the first "refuel before here"
the rest are useless

Just about the time you finally see light at the end of the tunnel,
you find out it's a Government Project to build more tunnel.

S&T is a consumer program with associated capabilities and pricing. The more
'commercial'/'professional' would be MapPoint, which does have a development
interface that may address some of your issues and desires. You might take a
look at it. It is naturally more expensive.
