I have streets and trips 2008 with the GPS. If I buy 2010, do I have to get
the one packaged with a GPS, or will mine work with it?

Thanks,
Russ

It should work with it.

Streets&Trips (and MapPoint & AutoRoute) work with NMEA-0183 GPS receiver.

A more modern receiver will probably perform better (give a slightly
better estimate of location over a wider range of scenarios - eg.
obstructions), but it isn't worth replacing the receiver unless you've
been having problems with the existing one.

Russ;
The GPS receiver that came with your S&T 2008 is a sirfstar 3
receiver and will give you very good coverage when used with S&T 2010.

The GPS receiver you already have will work with 2010.
