You might add a bit more information, such as the source or destination
of the data exported. It sounds like you still have the data intact
somewhere.

I need to export my push pin data to an excel spreadsheet. Unfortunately, i
do not have the original excel file that i used to import my data ( i didnt
think I would need it later)

Also, if i buy Mappoint, can I transfer my data to that and then transfer to
excel?

thanks,

david

Try this:
In POIConverter (I'm using v3.21, in case changes have been made since
then), open the S&T .est file. Just browse for it in the Open dialog.
It's always best to work with a copy.

In the options menu, set the Data to Points.
Set the output option to GPS Exchange.
Leave checked items as checked, and click the Unlimited radio button.
Click OK.
Click the Save icon on the menu bar, or use File, Save.
At this point, try first using Excel as the output format ("Save as
Type"). I always get an error message here, but it does the export just
the same. When you open the spreadsheet, the first sheet is blank, but
you'll see several tabs for other sheets, and your data is in the
"Points" sheet.
Another option for the Save operation is to choose AutoRoute Pushpin
(.csv). This will also give you the essentials of your pushpins in a
format that can be opened in a spreadsheet.

This may help with the basics of POIConverter, and you can try different
source and output formats as you like.

I can't answer for Mappoint, but I expect it allows some method of
import and export, perhaps GPS Exchange (which is what I use for my
Garmin GPS).

I hope this will help.

Do you honestly think that someone is still waiting for a response to
this thread that is almost 3 years old?
