i searched for Ramada in santa barbara.
it found it! and put a red shape with a number in it.
great
but it also put other red shapes with numbers on other nonsensical things.
how do i get rid of the other shapes?
they are a bit like a shield flat at the top and pointed at the bottom.
select and cut - nope
select and delete - nope
save and re-open -nope
anyone know how to get rid of them?
they really stand out and distract.
thanks

From your description, it is not clear what is happening.
You might try copying the screen to the clipboard, pasting the clipboard
into mspaint, and then saving as a .png file, which often produces a
relatively small graphic file. Outlook express will allow your attaching
the .png file to a post to this newsgroup. If the file is not too large,
many of us will be able to see what you are talking about. You might want
to crop the image in mspaint to only show the portion of the screen that
indicates the problem you are talking about, thus producing a smaller .png
file.
